Can you design an art history class from scratch?

Whiteboard Design

I had trouble deciding on the particular medium I wanted to use for my final project. After investing significant time and effort into thinking about a topic and approach, I decided on making a virtual game. This work uses various interactive media, including a StoryMap, quizzes, and surveys hosted locally within one website. I wanted this assignment to be a narrative in touch with the reader, so I chose to make the website one page (excluding reference materials) to prevent any confusion regarding navigation.

This website aims to provide an engaging experience while also allowing viewers to critically analyze the concept of “great” or “western” art. Readers are encouraged to pay attention while reading the website because there may be pop quizzes! After they have read the entire project, they can build their very own art history course from what they have learned! This virtual activity is also great to complete with in-person instruction because the participants can be driven by the competition to create the best course.

This project is best viewed on a laptop or desktop computer.
