Looted Art and the Need for Restitution

For my final project I made a StoryMap that examines five different works of art and the ongoing, or completed restitution efforts. This project compares art that was stolen by the Nazis to art that was stolen as a result of colonialism. These five works, offer unique perspectives into art looting and the restitution efforts that occur with stolen art. This project does not cover the many additional pieces of art that were once stolen and remain in museums today.
