Throughout the semester, I noticed Alexander the Great continued to appear in our course material and I was curious as to why Alexander has played such a prominent role in history and art. I realized the greatness of Alexander did not necessarily stem from his character or accomplishments, but rather is his enduring legacy which I showcase in my final project in the form of a museum exhibit.
Taylor West is from San Francisco, California and is a part of Colgate University’s class of 2024. She is interested in pursuing a major in Political Science and majoring or minoring in History and Art History.
