Want to Reach the Afterlife?

Welcome to Seti’s Market! Our business has been innovating funerary rituals since our inception. We started out producing Ushabtis, to help our customers complete tasks in the afterlife, now we are expanding our product line to include Books of the Dead! Originally, spells were inscribed on coffins and burial objects; Books of the Dead were usually only created for Pharaohs. However, since our company was founded in the 12th century, elaborate funerary objects are no longer gatekept by the wealthy. We’ve been helping Egyptians like you safely navigate the long and treacherous journey to the ultimate paradise, the Field of Reeds! Our scrolls are handmade from 100% authentic papyrus and personalized so your heart can be as light as a feather by the time it reaches Ma’at. Have you put your feet in the Nile too many times? We’ve got you covered! Consult our in-house scribe, and they will determine which spells you need to carry you to eternal life.

What Will Happen if I Don’t Act Now?

We have over 200 spells, prayers, and incantations to choose from that can tackle any obstacles you may face while trying to reach the Field of Reeds. Some of our most acclaimed spells include Spell 104, a formula for sitting between the great gods of Egypt; Spell 154, which is used to prevent the body from deteriorating; and Spell 49, which can be used to face enemies in the Duat. When you order your Book of the Dead, you’ll get Spell 125 free of charge. Spell 125 is one of the most important to travel through the afterlife successfully. The spell allows you to prove your innocence in front of 42 judges by making statements about sins you have not committed. Anubis, the deity who guides you through the afterlife, will weigh your heart and a feather on a scale. The heart is the center of your emotions and character, so of course it will be used to judge the morality of your life! The feather is meant to symbolize Maat, the goddess of justice. If your heart is pure and weighs less than the feather, you will be sent to the Field of Reeds. If your heart weighs more than the feather of Ma’at, Ammit will devour your heart, and you’ll no longer exist. By investing in our product, we’ll help you get through the most complex trials in the Duat. Don’t believe us? Just listen to these first-hand accounts from satisfied customers!

Reviews

Hunefer the Scribe

I certainly give Seti’s Market five stars! The beautiful illustrations and useful spells that were inscribed assisted my voyage to paradise. Spell 125 allowed me to prove the moral nature of my life and speak with the gods. I came face to face with the patron god of scribes, Thoth, who transcribed the event of my heart being weighed. Speaking to Osiris was the most nerve-wracking part of my journey, but I knew with the aid of the spells recommended by the scribes at Seti’s Market, I could be given final approval to enter the Field of Reeds. I couldn’t have done it without the help of my Book of the Dead!

If you’re looking to enjoy the afterlife, I’d definitely suggest the work done by Seti’s Market. I was able to preserve my legacy as a royal scribe and accountant of divine offerings to the gods by having it inscribed on the papyrus of my scroll. Thanks to the scribes who personalized my scroll, I was equipped with protection spells so I wasn’t injured on my journey. Now I’m with my parents, enjoying my time farming my own plot of land in the Field of Reeds. Worth all the money I spent!

A note from the author: Hi! My name is Grace LaBruno, and I’m a sophomore at Colgate University. I’m considering minoring in religious studies, so I wanted to choose a piece used in Egyptian funerals so I could see how their religious beliefs shape their rituals.
