Ok, we’re actually going to skip the “caves” this year, although I highly recommend this film if you want to learn more about them on your own. Today we will discuss one of the oldest works of 3-dimensional art that has survived, the Venus of Willendorf. She is arguably the most famous object from pre-history. But ultimately, she tells us more about the present than about the past.
