Socrates and O.J. : “The Trial and Death(?)” of Democratic Judicial Systems

For my final project, I created a presentation with interactive polling that explores Socrates’ issues with the Athenian justice system by critiquing the Trial of O.J. Simpson from the philosopher’s perspective. The presentation walks through the trial and “tries” the case from three different standpoints. The line of questioning it introduces forces people to think critically about the system of justice they would prefer from the lens of one of the most well-known criminal cases in the past century.
