For my final project, I created a story map from Knight Labs to illustrate various alternative texts that should be read in Colgate’s core classes. Including such texts would help solve the most common complaint surrounding Colgate’s core — that it is too Eurocentric. By reading these texts, the student would be exposed to a wider variety of voices and perspectives which should help shape us into more worldly and knowledgeable young men and women.
